In the dark night

In the vast ocean

You can see the energy

In the lights of creatures

Who glow from within

But on most nights

They glow alone

In the dark night

Let us sit in our respective places and times and enjoy a cup of tea or something else. Feel the warmth, sense it, appreciate our ability and potential to be in the world. Feel a sense of gratitude. Let us begin to think.

I doubt the leaders of our time. It is odd how many leaders are terrible at understanding the time and how to move forward.

So many men in leadership roles play Old Testament Heroes or related religious roles. And it follows, that they give orders that make people dead.

They seem to follow the commands of the God in the Old Testament. And not the leading star of Jesus in the New Testament.

I doubt it is the time for war we live in. It seems far more likely to be time of co-operation, if we are to survive on this little planet. The divine will help us find a way. (If the divine is just another word for the accidents that shape our time, that’s fine, but beyond the topic here)

Let’s call him Timothy, the boy who wants the world to go boom and has that power.

Energy

We have so much (most of us, at least)

To create, to destroy

We must travel across the land, the sea, the sky

We dream of traveling to the stars (not the best idea)

Yet we struggle to live in peace

On the one planet that is our home

Perhaps we need time

Time to have the energy

To be wise

After mitochondria found it’s way into a bigger organism. After that organism had changed over time until humans walked the earth. Imagine that there was no war. Oh, happy days. To not have to wake up to the sirens or the blasts of bombs, the sound of debris and buildings falling apart,

Why do we have the power to create all these means of murder and destruction.

The mitochondrion.

Short explanation: Mitochondria were originally a virus or bacteria, that entered a larger organism and became part of the cells in that organism. It is part of all the big organisms on earth. It is why you observe the earth as you do. Why we have created war (War is a Racket is a book).

Sounds like God at work.

Epilepsy, ataxia, mitochondrial disease. Three diseases. Lucky, I won the genetic lottery and received them. That for some reason I have as a “gift”.

A word about these diseases. In themselves, they are not easy to live with or curable. I will not go into details, if you know, you know.

But you can live with them. Live accepting these often confusing and consuming questions,
